Welcome

As Head Teacher, I am delighted to be able to welcome you to St Joseph's Catholic primary School.

St Joseph's is a Catholic school which prides itself on living its mission by creating a happy, caring school where everyone is encouraged and inspired to reach their true potential. It is a privilege to be entrusted with the education and well-being of our young children, and it gives me a great deal of pride to see our children as they grow, learn and flourish as they travel through our school.

To find out more about our lovely school please do take a look around the website. If there is anything else you’d like to know, or if you’d like to arrange a visit, just give us a call.

Our Values

St. Joseph's is a happy and caring Catholic school where everyone aspires to reach their true potential with Christ at the heart of all we do.

In order to achieve our ethos within school and the wider community that we serve, every member of our school family shares a core set of values, which guide our actions in school.

Letters

We send out letters and newsletters on a regular basis to keep parents up to date with school decisions and progress.

At St Joseph's Catholic Primary School, we keep our parents, carers and families informed about upcoming events and celebrations of our children's successes. We regularly publish a newsletter, which is sent out electronically to all of our parents and is made available on this page. We also use Social media to share the very latest events, learning and religious celebrations that take place within our school.

The mini-vinnies collected items for the Washington Community Food Project and the People’s Kitchen. In school the children learned about how important it is to help those people who may be less fortunate than themselves, which links to our school Christian values.
